一場越野賽事為何要申請兩種認證？用途是什麼？ 以下請看解答。 Why do trail races apply for two certifications and what are they for?



ITRA 與 UTMB 差異

ITRA 點數｜ITRA Points

由 International Trail Running Association（國際越野跑協會）計算授予，依距離、累積爬升與完賽時限決定。Granted by the International Trail Running Association based on distance, elevation gain, and time limits.


📌 主要作用｜Key Uses

  • 報名資格門檻：國際大型賽事常要求一定期間內累積指定 ITRA 點數。Entry requirements: Major races often require a set amount of ITRA points earned within a time window.
  • 能力證明：顯示曾完成相對難度／距離賽事，供主辦判斷安全完賽能力。Capability proof: Shows you’ve completed comparable difficulty/distance for safety assessment.

UTMB Index

由 UTMB Group 計算，用於評估選手在不同距離類別的實力：20K｜50K｜100K｜100M。Calculated by UTMB Group to evaluate performance across categories: 20K, 50K, 100K, 100M.


📌 主要作用｜Key Uses

  • UTMB 世界系列賽資格：兩年內須完成對應距離類別，保有有效 Index。UTMB World Series eligibility: Maintain a valid category Index within two years.
  • 排名與分組：Index 越高，越有機會獲得較前面的起跑區。Seeding: Higher Index may improve your start corral placement.
  • 個人進步追蹤：可視為山徑版「馬拉松 PB」追蹤指標。Progress tracking: A trail analog to monitoring your “marathon PB.”

差異總結｜Quick Difference

  • ITRA 點數：報名門檻、能力證明 ITRA Points: Entry eligibility & ability proof.
  • UTMB Index：參加 UTMB 世界系列賽須有對應距離有效 Index｜UTMB Index: Required (by category) for UTMB World Series.

📌 Xtrail Kenting by UTMB 報名資格｜Entry Requirements

  • 100K：至少 UTMB Index 50｜100K: Minimum UTMB Index 50.
  • 50K：至少 UTMB Index 20｜50K: Minimum UTMB Index 20.
  • 25K：8/13（三）12:00 起，不需 Index，可直接報名｜25K: Open from Aug 13, 12:00, no Index required.
  • 10K：不需 Index，可直接報名｜10K: No Index required.
