睽違五年，聖母山莊登高賽於 2024 年 7 月正式重返舞台，吸引來自台灣與海外超過 300 位菁英選手齊聚新北坪林，挑戰被譽為「全台最陡」的 3 公里越野登高路線。此賽道從登山口一路垂直攻頂，海拔爬升達 700 公尺、平均坡度超過 23%，是台灣極限越野象徵！
最大亮點莫過於日本越野王者 上田瑠偉 Ruy Ueda 首度參賽，即在暴雨中以 37 分 28 秒完賽勇奪男子冠軍。他在受訪中表示：「這賽道比想像更硬，挑戰非常過癮！」
女子組方面，亦由日本選手 今井美穗 以 46 分 13 秒勇奪冠軍，國際選手在氣候極端與濕滑地形下仍展現強大實力。TTRA 中華越野跑協會表示，這場比賽再次顯示台灣越野場域在亞洲的重要性與挑戰性。
After a 5-year hiatus, the Holy Mother Peak Vertical Race returned in July 2024, bringing together over 300 elite runners from Taiwan and abroad. The course features a brutal 3km uphill climb with 700m elevation gain and a staggering 23.8% average slope.
Japan’s trail legend Ruy Ueda made his debut on this route and claimed the men’s title in 37 minutes and 28 seconds despite heavy rain. He described the course as "tougher than expected but very exciting."
In the women’s category, Miho Imai of Japan finished in 46:13 and took the title. The race reaffirmed Taiwan’s growing presence as a top-tier destination for vertical trail racing in Asia.
