JAPAN TWOLAPS Introductory Training Camp
JAPAN TWOLAPS Introductory Training Camp
Why This Course?
For years, most Taiwanese runners have focused mainly on mileage and pace, often neglecting the structural foundation that truly supports speed. Coach Meng-Hsin Lai of Luminous Running Club found that many performance issues stem not from poor stamina but from imbalances such as weak core stability, disrupted kinetic chains, and poor body control. In contrast, Japanese long-distance runners consistently perform at a high level internationally thanks to their dedication to movement quality and core control.
They believe: "Speed comes not from effort, but from control."
Coach Lai has spent years studying with Masato Yokota and Toshi Wada of the elite Japanese track club TWOLAPS. This year, he brings back a world-class training system that combines core control and kinetic chain development giving runners in Taiwan the opportunity to transform their posture and pace.
